Producer, Musician, Songwriter, and Audio Guru, Corey Lawson, grew up in the Cotton State (Alabama) just 30 miles west of Rocket City in Athens, AL. He fell in love with the guitar at a young age and began playing in bands as a teenager covering everything from rock, pop, country, to heavy metal. He’s always had a passion for music and the arts. He is now classically trained with 15 years of experience on guitar and also plays drums, percussion, and bass.

 

He has performed live and as a studio musician for many bands and songwriters including Top-40 Country artist Todd O’Neill, Zac Hacker (Nashville Star), James Leblanc (Modern day Bonnie & Clyde), Josh Dunne (What happens in a small town) , and is currently playing with country artist Erath Old. Corey also has a heart for the technical side of the industry, such as production and audio engineering, and he earned a Bachelors degree in Entertainment Media Production from the University of North Alabama. He has produced many artists and songwriters including Zac Hacker (Nashville Star), hit songwriters Billy Lawson, James Leblanc, Josh Dunne and many more. Corey has also scored many films including the award-winning documentary “I’m With Phil”. Corey is currently in Nashville, TN touring with various artists and working in the studio when he’s at home.
